<p>During a practice session, the 37-year-old showed off his tactical acumen to the Rajasthan Royals (RR) supporters by outwitting their international batsman, Shimron Hetmyer.</p>
<p>During a net session, Ashwin bowled to Hetmyer and described the modifications in field location (imaginary). Ashwin informed Hetmyer that he would be pulling the point and cover fielder back towards the fence and setting up a square leg for him.</p>
<p>After spreading the web, Ashwin delivered the southpaw a well-disguised carrom ball, pinning him in front of his stumps, perhaps thinking he was inclined to hit across the line for the boundary possibility available on the side behind square.</p>
<p>Hetmyer failed to pick up the ball’s line and was unable to counter Ashwin’s cunning.</p>
<p>While Hetmyer rushed to retrieve the ball and return it to the cunning Indian spinner, Ashwin celebrated the situation by raising both of his arms in the air</p>
